Here I wanted to show you a check that I got from Texas Unclaimed Funds. I searched on the Texas database and found this unclaimed money that I did not know about from several years ago when I was in college.

If you can see, it’s for a whopping $14.16! Whooo hoo! I’m rich.
Hey, it’s $14 I did not know about so that pays for a movie and a popcorn. Or half a tank of gas. Like they say, it’s better than a sharp stick in the eye.
It wasn’t that hard to get this free money. I searched Google for the Texas unclaimed funds site and found it pretty quickly.
Then I had to search the database and find any monies due me.
Once I found it, I had to fill out the one page form and send it in along with a copy of my driver’s license or Social Security card. Basically they need to make sure you are who you say you are.
And then it said it could take several weeks for the money to get to me but I had it in less than 2 weeks.
I imagine that is because there are not too many people sending in requests for their free money. Maybe because they do not know they have any coming to them or they do not know where to search.
In my case, I did not think I had anything coming to me so I was surprised to find this money.
So take the few minutes to search Google or Bing if you prefer and look for the unclaimed funds site in your state and see if you have any money.
You may be surprised what you find.
I did not get Kevin Trudeau’s Free Money book to find this free money. However, it was his infomercial that spurred me to find if I had any unclaimed money. And so to that I can say thank you Kevin Trudeau for helping me find $14.16 in free money!
